aya madre

When a Los Angeles-based Ayahuasca church approached Dāna, they came with more than a project—they came with a prayer. A dream of creating a sacred, all-women’s retreat in the mystical lands of Joshua Tree.  A space of deep healing, remembrance, and rebirth. They asked us to help bring this vision to life—not just with words, but with feeling. With reverence for the medicine. With a deep understanding of the feminine path. And with a tone that honored the sacred while inviting curiosity, trust, and transformation.

From the name to the voice, from the ceremony descriptions to the Instagram captions, Dana wove the story of the retreat with the same care and intention as the ceremony itself.

Objective

The church needed more than just visuals—they needed a creative partner who could hold the vision with care and bring it to life across every touchpoint. From the name to the narrative, from guest welcome booklets to social media presence, the identity had to feel cohesive, grounded, and deeply intentional.

Every element—digital and physical—needed to reflect the energy of the retreat: sacred, feminine, and transformative. Signage, ceremony materials, digital touchpoints, and Instagram storytelling all had to whisper the same message—you are safe here, you are seen here, you are ready to bloom.
